Family Day fun in the Sun
For Family Day, we all went for a long, sunburning day at the beach. We played in the water all day, getting salt and sun in our eyes and hair, and overall had a great time.

Caro and Toti

Caro and I putting on my fake smile.

Offspring tossing, the latest fad in live gaming.

Aint she a beaut?

And the four little guys who run my life

Drowning me

Tossing the other one

Arent I hip?

Yes that massive thing with hair on it hiding her is my chest. Deal with it.

The ladies of the family.
And that's all for now folks...
Oh, on a lighter note, I actually made an edible sweet thing. We got a ton of strawberries from Costco, so I managed to cobble(pardon the pun) together a strawberry cobbler. Pretty awesome with vanilla icecream on top. God loves me.

Toti's Birthday BBQ
On the 15th was Toti's birthday, which we celebrated yesterday, a week or so later, with a BBQ and cake and fun. The meat was awesome, courtesy of David Jr and Nico.

The girls gnawing at the meat.

Chachi and her silly face

The Birthday boy looking like the keenest kid in the whole school.

Whatta face on Toti, and what a hair style on Sammy.

David getting young Aaron hooked on meat at an early age. Too bad he aint got no teeth.

The Birthday boy and cake, courtesy of the mother. It was pretty swell actually.

Isn't that cute?

Toti and his awesome present: his new spinosaurus friend, Norbert the 3-D puzzle

Aitana falling asleep with her cake. Somehow by the time we got around to the cake and singing it was already 10ish, so the kids were ready for bed.

Toti enjoying his birthday cake.

Toti's awesome water shooting laser sword. Courtesy of the grandparents.
And now for the awesome video of everyone singing Happy Birthday in the key of "Way too off key to be good" as well as the surprise meeting of Toti's face and the whipped cream covered cake. Big whoop.

He never fully recovered from that, at least that night.
Next up....fun in the sun at the beach

So for Family Day we had some fun. The day started nice and late, the kids letting us (me at least) sleep until nearly 10 in the morning. Bless their little hearts. Breakfast preceded devotions, which led to a fun trip to the nearest McDonalds playplace thingy, our wonderful idea and source of fun when we dont have a car to go do something else. :D

The Iguana along the way

Toti and his bowtie of many colors

Chachi and her balloon

The girls

Toti and his slide

All the kids on the McPlaythings

We finished off our day with some hamburgers courtesy of myself and Caro. All in all a great day.
Yes, my writing is down the drain for this post. Pictures being a thousand words each make up for it.

Gotta love them kids
Putting the kids down tonight before we had to run off to a meeting, we put on a short video for them, with the knowledge that they were gonna crash directly after it finished.
Coming back after the meeting to find them all crashed and cuddled up on our bed was terribly cute as is, but I found this left on my laptop on the desk next to the bed:

The note was reminding me to bring the fan downstairs when I brought the two girls down to their room to sleep. Seeing as they sleep in a different room these days, where they dont have the luxury of aircon like the gods have blessed us with in our room, they need the fan.
It was so cute to see the little drawings of the fan, as well as the childish misspellings.

Gotta love the whole parenting thing.
